....just about everywhere in the nation except here anyway.  Northern Idaho seems to be a little different than the  norm when it comes to buying and selling Real Estate.  I pulled numbers this morning for the Coeurd'Alene MLS  and it looks like for Jan of this year there were 141 units sold at an average price of $243,096.  Feb numbers were 156 and the average price increased to $249,716 per transaction.  I just signed two contracts today for homes in Post Falls and I have never been busier since  the beginning of January.  I believe that people have finally quit associating our market with the rest of the country and with the combination of low interest rates decided to start pulling the trigger.  I think it may be a little while before the market gets cranking in the 300k to 600k range but for right now, the lower end homes below 225k are moving great.  If you want to read about the rest of the market click on this link and you can read the article.  http://apnews.myway.com//article/20080324/D8VJVL280.html
